My Husband has very graciously given me a couple of hours to myself on the beach. With his help, I was also able to successfully deploy our new bumbershoot, now that the wind has died down to a Beaufort 4.
A group encamped nearby and proceeded to launch their colorful kite. I have flown many kites in my day, and certainly the conditions today are perfect, but I confess, I have never witnessed the technique employed by this guy for keeping one aloft.
